Ultra Blue
The Ultra Blue rope constructions are truly a major development in comparison to traditional polypropylene ropes. Ultra Blue ropes utilize Samson's Ultra Blue bi-polymer olefin fiber. This maximum strength fiber creates ropes that are 30% to 35% higher in strength than equivalent polypropylene constructions. This fiber gives Ultra Blue ropes up to three times more wear life than polypropylene. The unique fiber surface develops excellent grip capability while adding to the surface wear life. A combination rope made from high strength plied filament polyester surface yarns wrapped over Samson's Ultra Blue fiber. SSR-301R
The ultimate lockline specifically designed to virtually eliminate "slipstick" in locklines when checking barges. The three-strand rope construction is a high strength, lightweight and controlled smooth checking line that has double the wear life of standard lockline ropes. This is accomplished by our unique fiber and internal Resistex lubricant. The core fiber of each strand is 100% orange Ultra Strong bipolymer yarn which is 35% stronger than standard polypropylene fiber. The core fiber of each strand then has our internally produced outer cover of high tenacity filament polyester blended with spun polyester. The outer cover of filament polyester allows for excellent wear and heat resistance. The Resistex lubricant constantly lubricates the outer surface fibers when working loads are applied. This constent migration of Resistex to the surface yarns maxmizes rope wear life, allows consistent checking ability and minimizes heat buildup during checking. Specific Gravity: 1.14 |

Ultraline
A regular lay three-strand floating rope with high tenacity and excellent wear life. Ultraline® is produced from exclusive high tenacity orange Ultra(TM) olefin fiber which allows it to yield 20% to 25% higher strength than standard yellow polypropylene ropes with twice the wear life. Its unique orange color, with the proprietary red and green I.D. markers, gives high visibility and product identification. The performance characteristics of Ultraline are the proven reason why it has become an accepted economical service replacement to traditional three-strand polypropylene.
