Donaldson Ropes retails and wholesales quality industrial, agricultural, arborist, theatre and stage, ski hills, wineries, marine, yachting, sailing ropes and cordage. We are the authorized dealer for Manila Cordage, Samson Ropes, Canacord, PolyTwine, Polysteel Atlantic and Bridgeline. Our rope products range from natural manila to synthetic nylons, polypropylene, polysteel & polyester in braided, double braided and twisted styles. We also provide exceptional custom splicing and rigging services. Playgrounds, Cirque du Soleil , Paramount Picture Movie sets, local ski hills like Grouse Mountain & Whistler, the US Forest Service, to name a few, have all been a great test of the design and manufacturing services of Donaldson Ropes.

Did you know?
Splices should be used instead of knots wherever possible... knots can decrease rope strength so adjust your working load accordingly.

Custom Splicing

Donaldson Ropes now offers a complete rigging and splicing shop. Our skilled technicians specialize in different splicing techniques, splicing any size and shape of rope; 3, 8 & 12 strand Braided and Double Braided ropes, soft or hard eyes.

Rigging

We provide both modern and traditional rigging of the highest quality. Our resident rigger has handcrafted many "bosuns' chair", a rope seat used aloft the side of a boat, mainly in repair or painting. We can customize any rigging job for all clients needs.
